Location:  USA, Sri Lanka, Madagascar, Canada, Finland etc

Origin: Igneous and Metamorphic rocks

Feldspar is the most abundant group in the earth and comprises of Labradorite, Moonstone, Orthoclase, Sunstone, Peristerite, Amazonite.

Iron causes the yellow colours, Lead causes the blue and green, Hematite causes the play of light in Sunstone.

Moonstone and Labradorite are the two most popular members of the group and can display a wonderful sheen and iridescence.
